puppy training
Katie asked:

I just recently got a new female puppy. She isn’t potty trained yet and I take her out constantly usually once an hour sometimes twice. Everytime I take her outside she doesn’t want anything to do with going to the bathroom. I’m sometimes out there for 20 minutes just attempting to get her to but it never happens. Almost every time we come in she goes pee on the floor just a few minutes after. And right after she goes pee she goes poop. When I see this happen I take her right back out immediately. I even stop her after she goes pee that way I can get her out to go poop but she shows no interest at all. I’m getting really stressed out. And my mom keeps telling me that “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” But its their instinct to go outside. Any advice, tips, tricks?

Please help!
Thanks!

puppy training
Ethan’s_Mommy asked:

I was wondering how long you should crate train a puppy? I have had mine for 2 1/2 months and he is potty trained and has not had any accidents in 2 months now. He still sleeps in his cage at night and I was thinking about letting him out tonight to see how he does. I know he wont use the bathroom in the house because he goes to the door and scratchs but Im wondering if he will hold it all night since he’s out of his cage. Normally he will go to bed at 10pm in his cage and I will walk him at 7am when my husband leaves for work. He does really well with this. I am just worried that he will be scratching tonight if I let him out of the cage. What do you think? is it time for him to come out?
